Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in the daily rate at Nzumba Lodge?

Your stay is all-inclusive of your luxurious accommodation, delicious meals (including breakfast on the lawn, teas, coffee and snacks, and Boma dinners), and two daily game drives (early morning and late afternoon/evening) in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve. Beverages and transfers are typically excluded.

Is complimentary Wi-Fi available at the lodge?

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi access is available in the main lodge areas, as well as in the rooms. Please note that due to our secluded bush location, the connection speed may vary, encouraging you to switch off and enjoy the tranquillity of the Klaserie bushveld.

What essential items should I pack for my safari?

We recommend light, neutral-coloured clothing for game drives (avoiding bright white), a wide-brimmed hat, high-factor sunscreen, and insect repellent. For viewing wildlife up close, a good pair of binoculars is essential. Remember a jacket for the cooler evening drives.

Is Nzumba Lodge safe for children, and what is the age limit for game drives?

We warmly welcome families to the lodge. The main lodge area is secure, though supervision is required due to the surrounding bushveld.

What dining options are available if I have dietary restrictions?

Our chefs are happy to cater to most dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, and specific allergies. To ensure we can accommodate your needs successfully, please notify us of any specific restrictions or preferences when confirming your reservation.

What is the check-in & check-out time?

Check-in time is 14:00 (2:00 PM), allowing you time to settle in before the afternoon game drive. Check-out time is 10:00 (10:00 AM). Please note that there is a cash entrance fee payable per vehicle at the Incheni Gate of the Klaserie Reserve; here you can view our additional extras information.
